Kanak Bioscience and Research Pvt. Ltd. (KBR) is the organic promotion division of Maa Kanak Biofertilizers (MKB), is also engaged in agricultural consultancy involving Medicinal and aromatic plants cultivation, collection and end produce marketing.
Inception in 2004, MKB started Medicinal and aromatic plants consultancy services since 2008-09. We started our consultancy division as “Kanak Bioscience and Research Pvt. Ltd.” in the year 2010-11. KBR offered medicinal and aromatic plants consultancy services to different NGOs, Companies; those were promoting different medicinal and aromatic plant cultivations i.e. Ashwagandha, Swarpagandha, Kalmegh, Basil, Stevia etc.
Though those promoters were not interested for organic certification but farmers were restricted to use chemical fertilizers and pesticides completely.
Most of the farming fraternities were unaware of the organic mode of medicinal and aromatic plants. KBR-MKB assisted them as Service Provider and Technical Partner for development of package and practices for individual medicinal and aromatic plants, rendered them services day-to-day activities and monitoring disease and pest management.
The KBR-MKB has in principle agreement with following NGOs, Co-Operative Societies & Agriculture promotion companies for cultivation to marketing of the end products.
KBR is having its own technical experts and field staffs to cultivate and monitor upto 3000acres of cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants and KBR has its own marketing network and linkages to market the harvested produces.
